DEAR's BLOG!

Sunday, September 28, 2008

The day just right after SPCMCC Dinner & Dance.

Tis' the first time I've been to such an event, be it Prom Night, D&D or whatever, since I didn't attend the one during secondary school. Previously I told them I'm not attending, but in the end after Siew and MORE OF Yeeting's constant 'persuasion' and for finding an excuse to buy new clothing, 'oh, what the heck' and I spent 140 bucks on a shirt and a pair of white pants.

Could say this is the first time I spent so much in one go, other than my guitar?

Such a coincidence that dear and I bumped into YS and Cherry at Bugis Junction! We were like, looking around for a place to eat, then just somehow bumped into them. Ended up eating at Yoshinoya, and it was a seriously quiet lunch. HAHA. I hope I didn't spoil either of their moods though, cause I suppose people won't really like getting 'disturbed' when they are with their partners.

After the so-called 'preparations' at The Ark Cafe at Kallang CC, the so-called 'ladies and gentlemen' went to change and dress up.
I thought the guys, okay us, took a bloody long time to look good, the girls took even longer!
Helped to style Ren Jie's and Donald's hair, even though I really suck at it. LOL. YS was like spamming the hairspray on his hair, while I used quite much too, cause my hair collapses very easily. Was like joking with the guys:

"I think if light our hair with a lighter our hair sure will go ablaze leh."

Dinner and Dance was quite fun, although the event got delayed a while due-to-dunno-who, so the few us were just 'highing' on stage, playing songs and singing. The feel really is there, but got really screwed up during the actual performance. Hey, we had no rehearsals! The song I sang together with Ren Jie and Xiao Han feel really, really short. "Ah? The song over already liao ah?"
Oh well, at least we enjoyed ourselves during the 自-high moments. xD

And dear Melissa won a basketful of FRUITS during the lucky draw towards the end of the event! That thing was darned heavy thanks to the whole HONEYDEW in the basket. Whoever packs a HONEYDEW in a fruits basket anyway?!

I wonder how dear is going to bring that back if she attended D&D without me.
And so this morning I was telling dear this:

"Dear, next time, don't win anything more than 2kg can le.. LOL."

I bet that thing weighs heavier than a cannonball.

& my world is coloured by you.
